The short version: Switchman is open source and local-first. The CLI keeps coordination data on your machine, the website uses no tracking cookies, and we never store your source code.

Local CLI usage — no data collected by us
Switchman is a local CLI tool. Coordination data such as tasks, leases, and file claims is stored in a SQLite file on your machine at .switchman/switchman.db. We do not receive this data.

Telemetry (opt-in only)
Switchman includes optional anonymous telemetry for setup and workflow events. This is disabled by default and can be enabled with switchman telemetry enable or disabled with switchman telemetry disable. Telemetry events contain no personal data and no file contents.
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond operating the service.
